Cultivation Assistants are entry-level workers who support the cultivation team in growing, maintaining, and harvesting plants, often in agricultural or horticultural settings such as greenhouses or cannabis farms. Their responsibilities typically include watering, pruning, transplanting, monitoring plant health, and maintaining cleanliness in the cultivation area. They work under the supervision of cultivation managers or lead growers and play a key role in ensuring healthy crop production. Attention to detail and the ability to follow strict protocols are essential for this position.

What are some typical challenges a cultivation assistant might face in a commercial grow operation?

Cultivation Assistants often face challenges such as maintaining consistent plant health across large batches, managing pests or diseases promptly, and adapting to fast-paced changes in cultivation schedules. The role can also be physically demanding, involving repetitive tasks like pruning, watering, and moving plants.
