Cook – Join Our Neighborhood Kitchen Team

Position Overview:

We’re looking for reliable, experienced culinary cooks to join our West End Grill team - \The WEG!\

We strive everyday to deliver the quality and care that our neighborhood restaurant is known for over 30 years. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and take pride in creating delicious, well-presented dishes, we’d love to meet you!

Available Shifts:

  • Currently Mainly Weekends PM to Late Night - Friday, Saturday & Sunday
  • Lunch Saturday & Brunch Sunday
  • We are traditionally closed several holidays throughout the year.

What You’ll Do:

  • Safely Prepare & Store food in a Safe Clean Kitchen
  • Prepare a variety of traditional WEG dishes from scratch i.e. Country Fried Steak, Chef Charles' Meatloaf, Mississippi Pot Roast, Wings, Fresh Fish & Salads along with variety of daily features.
  • Set up and organize kitchen workstations before service
  • Prepare fresh ingredients using a variety of techniques
  • Cook menu items with consistency, care, and attention to detail
  • Plate and present dishes in an appealing and appetizing way
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and well-organized kitchen at all times
  • Monitor ingredient quality and ensure proper food handling
  • Assist with inventory, food storage, and stock management
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operation
