Job description

Performs advanced mechanical functions for designated District under minimal supervision.

Essential duties include the following:

  • Champions the company's H.S.E.&T program in all aspects of work performed to provide quality service in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Primary Duties are performed at remote work sites.
  • Troubleshoots mechanical entities to determine problems and offer improvements when necessary.
  • Performs periodic maintenance services to all CES equipment and related sub-components in the shop or on the job site.
  • May be responsible for maintaining parts inventory on the job site.
  • May be assigned a vehicle and must maintain assigned vehicle according to Company standards.
  • Performs day-to-day repairs on CES equipment as scheduled and required.
  • Maintains work orders and records with sufficient background to ensure requirements for quality have been met.
  • Provides mechanical assistance to other mechanics as required.
  • Practices good housekeeping keeping.
  • Performs any and all job duties as assigned by supervisory personnel including general labor, as necessary.
  • This position is required to perform safety sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.
