Job description

About us:

Started in 1977, Cudd Energy Services provides customers with nearly five decades of oilfield industry-leading experience for operational excellence in a wide range of oil and gas service-related applications.

About the role:

The Frac Equipment Operator (EO) is the backbone of our operations and customer service. You will perform advanced hydraulic fracturing operations and assist in various aspects of the job including pre-job preparation, mobilization, rig up, on site operations, rig down, on-site maintenance, safety, environmental assurance, de-mobilization, post job inventories, and oilfield maintenance.

The Frac Equipment Operator (EO) ensures that all assigned equipment is properly functioning and applicable procedures and tests are conducted in compliance with company standards.

Duties include the following:

  • Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections, as needed.
  • Follows supervisor guidance concerning all frac / oilfield related operations.
  • Attends all required safety meetings (on-site and off).
  • Operates and maintains frac equipment such as sand silos, chemicals, blender, hydration unit, frac pumps, line boss, and data van.
  • Performs general labor, as necessary.

What to expect:

We believe in transparency and want you to be prepared for the role. On the job you will experience:

  • Approximately 12-15 hours per day work shift
  • Two week rotations away from home (14/7)
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions during the day/night
  • Roughly 10% driving, and 90% operating and maintaining equipment
  • Climbing ladders, carrying hoses and iron, swinging a sledgehammer, and other oilfield physical tasks

  • Base pay: $17.50 - $26 p/hr.
  • Overtime pay: $26.25 - $39 p/hr.
