Job description

The UPS Store is a fast paced environment located on-campus at CU Boulder.  We receive and sort the mail/parcels for the 8500+ students that live on-campus.  We have three locations on the CU Boulder Campus and are currently recruiting for a full time sales associate to work alongside 5-10 part time employees per shift.

Company Overview:

The UPS Store is a franchise operation that has been serving the CU community since 2018.  A contract between CU Boulder Housing & Dining and The UPS Store brings students to our store for a full-service customer service experience.  We have three on-campus locations that receive and distribute mail and packages for over 8500 students that live on-campus at CU Boulder. We are a growing operation operating in a fast-paced environment. 

Seeking energetic, dedicated individuals who take pride in their work and have strong communication skills.

  • Must be detailed oriented, organized and reliable
  • Must be able to work independently, once trained and assist with training new associates
  • Must speak fluent English and have strong communication skills
  • Must be computer literate and able to operate basic office equipment
  • Must have a friendly and positive attitude

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to a variety of customers both in the store and on the phone
  • Operate Point of Sale and general office equipment
  • Stock shelves and assist with store orders
  • Sort and distribute mail
  • Check in and sort packages daily
  • Assist customers when picking up packages
  • Daily cleaning duties
  • Work in conjunction with student staff
  • Occasional operation of a company van

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Must have a valid US driver's license and a clean driving record 
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift at least 30lbs
  • Must be able to work between 9am-7pm Mon-Fri, 10am-4pm Sat (overtime may be required in May and August)
  • Minimum 1 year previous customer service and cash handling experienceÂ
