Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Treasury Management Officer III at our Irvine, CA location.
Hybrid options available.
The Treasury Management Officer III position is primarily responsible for providing treasury product marketing, product sales demonstration, technical and financial analysis to customers, prospects and internal relationship managers (Bankers). This position is also responsible for creating formal proposals and analyzing customer/prospects Request for Proposals (RFP) and determining appropriate strategy and approach to crafting a comprehensive response designed to successfully win new business.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide an exceptional level of quality service for internal and external customers and respond to customers' needs, questions and concerns in an accurate, effective and timely manner.
  • Prepares pro-forma analyses of customer's product sales potential and preparation of pricing proposal.
  • Review and analyze current and potential commercial relationships and recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Participates in design of marketing and sales programs aimed at the commercial customers for treasury management related products. Develops various prospecting and sales related materials and reporting to be used throughout the sales cycle.
  • Preparation of appropriate Contracts, Agreements and documentation relative to the Treasury Management products and services offered in accordance with Sunflower Bank, N.A Policies and Procedures.
  • Collaboration with other departments and team members on the preparation and presentation of Commercial Banking Proposals and Request for Financial Proposals (RFP's).
  • Maintain industry knowledge of treasury management solutions and pricing to keep competitive.
  • Leverages reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and successfully convert sales opportunities
  • Perform the job in accordance with applicable industry laws and regulations as well as the policies and procedures established by the company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, Economics or similar. Will consider previous experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience working in a financial institution
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation preferred
  • Ability to self-source opportunities with a successful track record with team selling and lead sharing
  • Minimum of 5 years of RFP experience with ability to create proposals
  • Current understanding of general Treasury Management products, offerings, Cash Flow cycles, and working capital
  • Ability to assess and manage risk/fraud with strong understanding of value propositions relating to TM solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, time-management and organizational skills
  • Strong ability to formulate partnerships with all levels in an organization
