Schedule: 35–40 hours per week

  • ECE Qualified Staff Member (QSM)
  • Assistant Teacher
Job Description:

Little People Learning Center is seeking caring, reliable, and qualified early childhood professionals to join our team. Candidates must meet Connecticut Office of Early Childhood (OEC) requirements for their respective positions.


Position 1: ECE Qualified Staff Member (QSM)

Pay Rate:

  • Very competitive
  • Based on experience, education, and qualifications
  • Must meet CT OEC Qualified Staff Member requirements
  • CDA, 12 ECE credits, or equivalent per OEC regulations
  • Experience in a licensed childcare setting preferred

Duties:

  • Implement age-appropriate curriculum
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment
  • Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
  • Maintain documentation and licensing compliance

Sign-On Bonus:

  • $300 paid after 90 days of continuous employment
  • Bonus must be repaid if employment ends before 6 months
