Job Description
ATANE Engineers, P.C. is seeking a Full-Time Office Engineer to provide technical and administrative support to the project team. The Office Engineer will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager/Resident Engineer on a road/bridge construction inspection project.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide administrative support for projects in various stages of design and construction.
  • Support Project Manager/Resident Engineer with the preparation and maintenance of construction schedules.
  • Initiate, prepare, review, track, post and distribute RFIs, and change orders.
  • Receive, prepare, review, process, forward and track status of submittals.
  • Maintain organized and detailed construction files, project records and logs.
  • Keep-up daily work reports.
  • Maintain as-builts drawings as work is completed.
  • Track, document and manage project issues and conditions.
  • Track, maintain and manage project Dunning letters.
  • Attend project meetings and record meeting minutes.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly project status reports.
  • Assist PM/RE with payment requisition preparation.
  • Assist in project close-out.
  • Knowledge of Construction Specification

Qualifications:
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Architecture preferred.

Required Credentials
Applicants must hold at least one of the following:
  • CTDOT and CTTA experience a plus.
  • NICET II, III, IV
  • SAT (Asphalt Paving Construction Technologist)
  • TCP (Rutgers CAIT - Traffic Control Coordinator Program).
  • ACI Concrete Field Technician - Grade I

Required Experience
  • Experience with CTDOT Site Manager and CTTA CapEx Manager software programs.
  • CTDOT and CTTA experience a plus.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $45.00-$60.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on job related factors including but not limited to experience, certifications, education, geographic location, shift requirements, internal equity and business need, in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws.
