CT Technologist (CT Tech) - Travel Assignment

???? 333-Bed Level 1 Trauma Center

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated CT Technologist for an exciting travel opportunity at a nationally recognized healthcare facility in Downers Grove, IL. This award-winning hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center with Magnet Designation and multiple ACR Accreditations, offering a dynamic and supportive environment for allied healthcare professionals.

About the Facility

  • 333-bed acute care hospital

  • Level 1 Trauma Center

  • Level III NICU

  • Magnet Designated Facility

  • Primary Stroke Center

  • ACR Accredited in:

    • CT

    • MRI

    • Ultrasound

    • Nuclear Medicine

Position Details

  • Specialty: CT Technologist

  • Patient Population: Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency Department

  • Patient Ratio: 1:1

  • Traveler Experience:

    • 1 year of experience accepted

    • First-time travelers accepted upon review

Required Certifications

  • BLS Certification

  • IEMA License

  • ARRT (CT) Certification

Required Skills & Experience

Candidates must be proficient in:

  • Routine CT procedures including:

    • Chest

    • Abdomen/Pelvis

    • Pulmonary Embolism (PE)

    • Brain & Head imaging

  • Performing portable CT exams in the ED and inpatient units

  • Working independently and collaboratively with ancillary staff and fellow CT Techs

  • Managing approximately 10-12 exams during an 8-hour shift

Education Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited CT program

Equipment & Technology

Experience preferred with:

  • EPIC EMR

  • GE CT Revolution

  • GE CT HD750

  • GE CT Light Speed

  • GE PACS

Support & Work Environment

  • RT support available 24/7

  • Hospitalist coverage available 24/7

  • No floating required

  • No weekend rotation

  • No on-call requirements

Orientation

  • General hospital orientation including badge and system access

  • 24-40 hours of unit orientation
