Job description

CT Technologist (Full-Time)

Job Location: Rutland, VT
Acute Care Hospital Setting

Schedule

  • 12-hour rotating shifts

  • Day/Night rotation

  • Rotating weekends & holidays

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic CT scans using multi-detector CT equipment

  • Conduct CT Angiography (CTA) procedures

  • Administer contrast media (as applicable and within scope)

  • Follow established imaging and scanning protocols

  • Accurately document exams in RIS/PACS and hospital systems

Requirements

  • Up to one year of recent hospital-based experience preferred

  • Experience with digital imaging and PACS systems

  • Familiarity with post-processing techniques

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Licensure & Certifications

  • Current State RT License (Vermont)

  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association)

  • ARRT CT Certification OR must obtain within one year of employment

  • Must complete 24 ECE credits every two years for recertification

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy

  • Experience with contrast administration and CTA imaging

  • Ability to care for patients across all age groups:

    • Infant
