Mechanic

Are you a problem-solver looking to develop your troubleshooting and technical skills in a best-in-class warehouse facility? As a Uline Mechanic, you'll ensure the machinery in our 1.2 million square-foot Plainfield warehouse is running at peak performance.

No travel required and Uline supplies all necessary tools!

Hours: Monday - Friday

  • 6 AM to 2:30 PM

  • 8:30 AM to 5 PM

Position Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair warehouse equipment such as pickers, forklifts, conveyor systems, wrappers, banders and sealed air pillow machines.

  • Keep detailed parts inventory and maintenance / repair records.

  • Work safely using proper protective equipment and lockout / tagout (LOTO).

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 2+ years of mechanic experience.

  • Experience maintaining Crown, Toyota and automated warehouse equipment.

  • Prior hydraulic system, electrical and automated conveyor experience a plus.
