Job description

PRS is hiring immediately for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team with a full-time permanent position in our CSX Bergen, NJ rail terminal in a recession-proof industry.
Compensation:
  • Hourly pay with a yearly income potential of $45,000-$55,000 per year (Which includes overtime) 
  • Pay rate is commensurate with experience.

Shift:
Day shift, 24/7 call out avail
Candidates:
  • Should have a minimum of 2-year experience in the mechanical field and be preventative maintenance minded.
  • Must have own tools (Yearly tool allowance provided).
  • Must have experience and knowledge working with Air, Electrical, Hydraulic and Diesel systems and components.
  • Will need a valid driver's license.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair forklifts, company vehicles, and hostler fleet. 
  • Maintain Hostler Fleet
  • Assist in other areas as needed by managers.

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 with verifiable mechanical experience
  • Candidates must undergo a background check.
