  • Licensure: Most roles require a state license (e.g., LMSW or LCSW).
  • Experience: Often requires 1–2 years of experience in a healthcare or home health setting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR), strong interpersonal communication, and crisis management. 
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW).
  • Social work license/certification (state-dependent).
  • Experience in healthcare, home health, or hospice settings (often preferred).
  • Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of community resources and public health administration.
  • Access to reliable transportation (often required for home visits). 
Essential Skills & Environment:
  • Autonomy & Travel: Work independently, traveling between homes, often requiring schedule flexibility.
