Job description

Position Summary
The Material Delivery Driver/Production Support is responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting architectural metal products to designated construction projects. This role will also provide support in the manufacturing warehouse as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Load and unload architectural metal products from company trucks & trailers.
  • Transport products to designated locations.
  • Provide support to the production warehouse approximately 40% of the time.
  • Work on tasks such as grinding, sanding, and finishing metal products.
  • Regular and routine attendance is required.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications (Knowledge & Skills)
  • Knowledge of safety driving rules and basic OSHA regulations.
  • Able to communicate effectively and professionally with team members and customers verbally and in writing.
  • Able to complete work accurately and on time.
  • Able to work collaboratively with direct team members, or across departments, and work independently as needed.
  • Able to properly utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Candidates who apply for positions that requiring driving must have a valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record. An MVR and proof of insurance will be required as part of the pre-employment background check process.

Education
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience
  • 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.
  • Experience loading and unloading commercial vehicles/trucks.

Work Environment
  • Physical Conditions:
    • This position works in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment, routinely uses hand tools, may operate production machinery or lift trucks, and must be able to stand for a full shift.
    • This position works on construction job sites and in buildings that are undergoing renovations or are unfinished, routinely uses hand tools, loads and unloads materials and equipment, and drives on Company business.

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the CSWI Board of Directors. Some sales roles are also eligible for a sales bonus.
