Are you passionate about behavioral health and crisis intervention?ย 


We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate full-time Mobile Crisis Service Provider to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of individuals facing emotional and behavioral health crises in our Machias Outpatient Office.ย 


As a Mobile Crisis Provider, you will respond to urgent behavioral health situations in the community-at homes, schools, homeless shelters, public spaces, etc, providing assessment, de-escalation, and short-term support.ย 


You'll work closely with law enforcement, hospitals, and behavioral health partners to ensure safety and connect individuals to ongoing care.ย 


Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to crisis calls in homes, public places, and with law enforcement
    ย 
  • Evaluate individuals in crisis and help stabilize their situation
    ย 
  • Develop crisis plans and connect individuals with services
    ย 
  • Support families and community members affected by a crisis
    ย 
  • Collaborate with law enforcement, hospitals, and treatment providers
    ย 
  • Educate the public about available crisis services and resources
    ย 
  • Facilitate crisis stabilization groups and follow up with clients
    ย 
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
    ย 
  • Provide community debriefing and support after critical incidents

This is a Full-Time position


Requirements


  • This position requires an associate's degree from an accredited college or university. A bachelor's degree in a human services-related field is preferred.
  • MHRT-CSP certification is required to carry out the assigned responsibilities of the position. The MHRT-CSP training will be provided by the agency upon hire.
  • A valid driver's license is required.ย 
  • CPR/First Aid Training, Mandt, START, and CAMS are required training provided within one year of employment.
  • Must be trained to administer and carry NARCAN. Training will be provided by the agency upon hire.
