Senior Business Development Director - TESO (CSO)

Role Summary

Drive enterprise-level growth for IQVIA's Technology-Enabled Sales Organization (TESO) by developing and closing complex, integrated commercial solutions. This role serves as a senior client partner to pharmaceutical and biotech companies, aligning IQVIA's field, virtual, data, and analytics capabilities to address evolving commercialization needs. Own the full business development lifecycle-from opportunity creation through deal close-while building executive-level relationships, shaping client strategy, and positioning differentiated, outcome-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, shape, and close complex, multi-solution deals across IQVIA's commercial portfolio.

  • Lead the end-to-end sales process (origination through contract close) with strong pipeline discipline and deal quality focus.

  • Build and sustain executive-level relationships with senior commercial, brand, and operations leaders.

  • Design and position integrated solutions including field sales, virtual sales, hybrid models, and analytics-enabled engagement.

  • Partner across IQVIA to orchestrate capabilities into cohesive, differentiated client solutions.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth and expand client partnerships.

  • Apply deep knowledge of CSO and hybrid engagement models to align with evolving client needs.

  • Translate commercialization challenges into actionable, outcome-oriented strategies.

  • Position IQVIA competitively through value-based, differentiated messaging.

  • Own revenue, pipeline performance, forecast accuracy, and CRM rigor.

  • 30% travel is required (based on location).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field Req

  • 15+ years of business development, strategic sales, or commercial leadership experience.

  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Req

  • Demonstrated success closing large, complex, multi-million-dollardeals.

  • Strong experience in pharmaceutical commercialization and CSO/contract sales models.

  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior and executive-level stakeholders.

  • Ability to design integrated, cross-functional solutions in a matrixed environment.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a strategic mindset.

  • Experienceleveragingdata and insights to shape sales strategy and client value propositions.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $125,300.00 - $349,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
