Job Summary and Qualifications
The Certified Surgical Technologist - Surgical First Assist (CSTFA) Pediatric provides technical assistance to physician/registered nurse in surgical procedures related to the operation of the Surgical Suite. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today!

  • The surgical technologist function in the role of CSTFA after meeting the qualifications set forth and carries out the functions that will assist the surgeon in performing a safe operation with optimal results for the patient
  • The CSTFA does not function concurrently as a scrub during the CSTFA component of surgical patient care
  • The CSTFA also functions as a scrub when not assisting in the surgical technologist role
What qualifications you will need:
  • High School Graduate / GED
  • Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date(CSA) Certified Surgical Assistant, or (CSFA) Certified Surgical First Assistant
  • Minimum 5 years experience
