Job description

Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include:
This position will assist the SRPPF N&CSE Area Manager. Some key functions of this deputy position are:
1) Assist with managing the development, maintenance, and revision of safety basis deliverables (e.g., Preliminary Documented Safety Analysis, Documented Safety Analyses, Technical Safety Requirements, and supporting technical documents).
2) Ensure the team supports complete and correct implementation of SRPPF safety design requirements into design documentation.
3) Support development, administration, and control of assigned N&CSE budgets, schedules, and staffing plans in order to develop and maintain nuclear and criticality safety documents and ensure schedule objectives are met.
4) Assist with directing nuclear and criticality safety activities in a manner that integrates achievement of the above responsibilities with the accomplishment of SRNS business objectives.
5) Interact (as needed ) with internal and external stakeholders, advising on interpretation of requirements and nuclear and criticality safety strategies.
6) Assist with the management and oversight of subcontractors supporting SRPPF nuclear and criticality safety activities.
Required Qualifications
โ€ข Twelve or more YOE as an individual contributor in one or more of the roles managed plus three or more years of experience (YOE) in a relevant management role, OR Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field plus eight or more years of experience (YOE) in one or more of the roles managed, OR Master's Degree in a relevant field plus five or more years of experience (YOE) in one or more of the roles managed

Security Clearance Information
