Deposit Operations Associate

Location Tempe, Arizona | Onsite

Compensation & Schedule

• $28.00 – $30.00 per hour

• Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM Arizona Time)

• Full-Time

• W2 employment

Role Impact

The Deposit Operations Associate supports the execution of customer payment activity and disbursement workflows to ensure accurate, secure, and timely transaction processing. This role partners closely with Customer Support, Ledger Operations, and Treasury to deliver a seamless client experience. Success in this position means maintaining operational accuracy, resolving payment-related inquiries efficiently, and ensuring compliance with banking and internal policies.


Key Responsibilities

• Payments Processing: Handle the full cycle of wire deposits and withdrawals, including managing manual queues and processing returns.

• Customer Support Coordination: Work closely with internal support teams to resolve customer queries related to payments, deposits, and withdrawals.

• Coordinating and fulfilling requests from Banking Partners: Manage fraud recall and compliance-related requests from banking partners, collaborating with internal compliance teams to gather documentation, review account activity, and ensure timely resolution.

• Account & Transaction Management: Approve and process ledger credits, debits, and fee transactions to ensure accurate account balances.

• Account Maintenance: Review, update, and verify client payment method details to ensure accuracy and security.

• Customer Assurance: Coordinate with Customer Support teams to provide timely confirmations of wire transactions and maintain clear communication on payment statuses.


Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent and 2 years of experience in the financial services industry or related field

• Advanced proficiency in Excel

• Understanding of bank deposit processing

• Strong communication skills and ability to distill complex topics

• Core Tools & Systems

• Microsoft Excel (advanced proficiency required)

• Internal ledger and payment processing systems

• Banking partner platforms and compliance documentation tools


Preferred Skills

• An undergraduate or graduate degree in finance or related field

• 4+ years of experience in finance, ideally at a global bank, exchange, hedge fund, financial institution, or crypto trading platform

• Understanding of cryptocurrency markets, DeFi (Decentralized Finance) protocols, blockchain technology, and consumer credit markets
