Job description

About the Company

Gemini is a global crypto and Web3 platform founded by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss in 2014, offering a wide range of simple, reliable, and secure crypto products and services to individuals and institutions in over 70 countries. Our mission is to unlock the next era of financial, creative, and personal freedom by providing trusted access to the decentralized future. We envision a world where crypto reshapes the global financial system, internet, and money to create greater choice, independence, and opportunity for all - bridging traditional finance with the emerging cryptoeconomy in a way that is more open, fair, and secure. As a publicly traded company, Gemini is poised to accelerate this vision with greater scale, reach, and impact.

The Department: Real Estate and Corporate Security

The Role: Office Services Intern

The Office Services team at Gemini is an ambassador of our core values, dedicated to supporting the company through rapid growth and beyond. We are seeking a Office Services Intern to support day-to-day office operations, facilities coordination, and employee experience at our New York City office this summer.

This role is highly visible and hands-on, with a strong emphasis on maintaining an exceptional in-office environment. The intern will serve as a consistent on-site presence, helping ensure smooth daily operations while fostering a welcoming and organized workplace for employees and visitors alike.

This will be a 16-week fall internship program 5 days per week in person at our New York City, NY office working full-time hours Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 5:00PM.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a reliable on-site presence to support employees, guests, and overall office operations throughout the workday
  • Manage office entry and access, including assisting employees and visitors with registration, badging, and navigation
  • Operate within a highly security-conscious environment, ensuring proper access control, visitor management, and adherence to company security protocols at all times
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment, including conference rooms, common areas, and kitchens
  • Reset and tidy conference rooms between meetings to ensure readiness and a high standard of presentation
  • Coordinate food and beverage orders for meetings and office needs, including assisting with setup and cleanup
  • Complete administrative tasks such as creating shipping labels, organizing data, creating reports, and forwarding mail
  • Support kitchen operations by monitoring inventory and assisting with restock of snacks, beverages, and supplies
  • Assist as needed with vendor coordination, including meeting vendors onsite and supporting office maintenance and repairs
  • Help manage shipping, receiving, and mail distribution
  • Address employee questions related to office services and escalate issues as needed
  • Assist with internal events, team gatherings, and office programming
  • Perform moderate physical tasks such as organizing, moving, and rearranging office supplies, furniture, or storage areas
  • Contribute to a positive, welcoming, and well-functioning office environment that reflects Gemini's culture
  • Participate as an active member of the summer 2026 intern cohort, contributing to a collaborative and engaging intern experience while also assisting in the planning and execution of team-building events, including those that may occasionally take place offsite or outside of standard working hours

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Associate's, or Master's degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience managing communications across email, Slack (or similar platform), and in-person interactions, ensuring clear, professional, and timely coordination with employees, vendors, and visitors
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-office environment
  • Proactive, dependable, reliable and willing to take initiative
  • Ability to multitask and problem-solve effectively
  • Willingness to take on a variety of tasks and "roll up your sleeves" as needed
  • Comfort with moderate physical activity related to organizing and maintaining office spaces
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Interest in creating a positive and engaging workplace experience
  • Curious about crypto

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets)
  • Familiarity with Slack or similar communication tools
  • Prior experience in hospitality, office coordination, or customer-facing roles is a plus

Pay Rate: The hourly pay rate for this role is $32/hour in the State of New York, the State of California and the State of Washington. When determining a candidate's compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.

In the United States, we offer a hybrid work approach at our hub offices, balancing the benefits of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. Expectations may vary by location and role, so candidates are encouraged to connect with their recruiter to learn more about the specific policy for the role. Employees who do not live near one of our hubs are part of our remote workforce.

At Gemini, we strive to build diverse teams that reflect the people we want to empower through our products, and we are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or Veteran status. Equal Opportunity is the Law, and Gemini is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. If you have a specific need that requires accommodation, please let a member of the People Team know.
