Cord Blood Educator

Miami - North Miami Beach, FL 33160

This outside sales position is responsible for the education, marketing and sales of Cryo-Cell's services in a specified region or major geographical area. The Cord Blood Educator develops and leverages strong business relationships with practices, acts as their educational resource and develops and implements educational seminars and consultations to increase Cryo-Cell's market share within a specified territory.

The employee will spend at least 70% of their time performing job duties that include but are not limited to:

  1. Create and execute an effective call plan.
  2. Record all daily activity in Salesforce.com.
  3. Utilize reporting tools provided to achieve territorial goals.
  4. Build and maintain business relationships with healthcare professionals that will lead to sales.
  5. Conduct educational seminars for physicians, midwives, and expectant parents, highlighting the importance and value of storing stem cells.
  6. Maintain a current and competent level of knowledge on the services offered and the industry, to be a reliable source of information to the healthcare professional in the territory.
  7. Remain compliant with drivers' safety guidelines and one's personal automobile insurance coverage requirement.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years' sales experience
  • Biotech / Pharmaceutical / Medical Device sales a big plus

Licenses/Credentials/Certifications

  • Driver's license

Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM such as Salesforce.com, Goldmine, ACT, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell goods, services and concepts
  • Demonstrated effective organizational skills
