Hours: 7:30a-4:00p or 6:45a-3:15p; Monday thru Friday

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Assists Radiology staff by providing clerical support and non-technical support to the various departments within the Radiology departments. The Radiology Assistant provides administrative support to a diverse patient population and to the clinical operations team. Expedites procedures through direct patient contact including patient transportation, specimen transportation, preparation and clean up of patient exam rooms and other related assistance. Reports to the Supervisor Administrative Support and/or assigned staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
  • High School or equivalent
  • BLS required prior to orientation completion
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
  • Experience in a medical setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Six (6) months of customer service experience preferred.
  • Medical Office experience preferred.
