The Application Specialist's role is to trouble shoot complicated problems that occur with crushing and screening equipment through diagnosis/repair, personal knowledge and experience, and engineering data in a manner that reflects the company's vision of working as "One Professional Team." This function may occur both at customer locations and through distant communications with both customer and Wagner Equipment Company service technicians. Additionally, the Application Specialist will provide on-site training to customer's equipment operators in which all features and benefits of a machine are demonstrated to customers and operators are instructed in the operation of the purchased or rented machine(s). The goal of this training is to result in increased production, maintenance, safety, and customer loyalty.
Pay Rate: $73,411.91 - $100,944.53 Annually
Pay is based upon education and experience.
Essential Functions:

  • Tracks and reports problems to Service, Sales and manufacturers
  • Serves as a liaison between Crushing and Screening service technicians and customers with vendors
  • Communicates effectively with internal and external customers, and manufacturers and engineers
  • Meets on a regular basis with Wagner Equipment Co. managers to review training needs for the service technicians
  • Helps to assess technicians training gaps
  • Provides primary technical support to customers and Wagner service technicians
  • Improves Crushing and Screening plant production and safety through on-site training
  • Attends and participates in product improvement and technical conferences
  • Attends needed classes as provided by vendors to become proficient with the equipment listed

  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Required Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years administrative/clerical experience
  • 5+ years customer service experience
  • 1+ years sales experience
  • 1+ years supervisory/management experience
  • 5+ years technical/mechanical experience
  • 5+ years Crushing and Screening experience

Physical Demands & Competencies:
  • Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
  • Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills
  • Safety & Product Knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Work Environment:
  • Noise: Moderate
  • Indoors and Outdoors
