We are in search of a motivated and imaginative Event Planning Intern to join our team. This part-time internship offers hands-on involvement in organizing, coordinating, and executing a diverse range of internal and external events and sponsorships. We seek an individual who is passionate, detail-oriented, and eager to delve into the intricacies of event management.

What you will do:

  • Contribute to event conceptualization, design, and thematic development
  • Propose innovative ideas to enhance event experiences
  • Conduct research and help partner with vendors, venues, and suppliers when needed
  • Assist in budget management and financial analysis
  • Support event logistics, including attendee communications, registration, setup, breakdown, and onsite coordination
  • Provide administrative support to the event planning team as it relates to events, masterclasses, and promotional items
  • Gather and organize event feedback, attendance data, and post-event reporting
  • Help manage event materials, promotional items, giveaways, and signage
  • Support special projects and other event-related initiatives as assigned

What YOU will bring to C&F:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Event Management, or Hospitality from an accredited College/University
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Exceptional communications skills, both oral and written
  • Personal concern, interest, pride and accountability in all areas of responsibility
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organization and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work 2-days a week in Morristown, NJ
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, etc.) with a solid grasp of Microsoft Excel
  • A passion for creativity and innovation in event planning 
  • Some travel required

The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $16.00 to a maximum of $25.00 per hour. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
