Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations through video conferencing to accurately identify clients' mental health needs, adapting approaches to suit individual scenarios.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions utilizing modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solutions-focused approaches to effectively address a range of mental health concerns.
• Collaborate with educators, school counselors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care, facilitating seamless referrals and continuity of treatment.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention via virtual platforms to clients experiencing acute distress, cultivating a supportive environment even in high-pressure situations.
• Participate actively in community outreach programs aimed at promoting mental health awareness within schools and local communities to reduce stigma and enhance access to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a licensed therapist at Azalea Counseling Services, you will primarily serve students and adolescent clients from varied backgrounds, including those facing socio-economic challenges, learning disabilities, and other mental health issues. Your role will be pivotal in identifying and addressing these challenges, facilitating supportive resources, and aiding clients in achieving academic and personal success.

Qualifications

• A valid, independent, and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A completed Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong therapeutic alliances with clients via virtual means.
• Commitment to cultural competence, demonstrating the sensitivity required to work effectively with diverse populations in a school setting.
• Strong organizational skills, demonstrated by your ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and maintain accurate documentation within electronic health records.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in educational settings, particularly with children and adolescents.
• Familiarity with teletherapy tools and methodologies that enhance virtual connections with clients.
• Background in community outreach or mental health promotion activities.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
