ASRC Federal is actively hiring a Senior Power Apps Developer in support of our Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) Cyber program based out of Quantico, VA.
As a Senior Power Apps Developer, you will design, develop, manage, and maintain an integrated ecosystem of dashboards that provide a near real-time Common Operational Picture (COP) of the enterprise cybersecurity posture. This dashboarding capability is a critical mechanism for ensuring transparency, enabling data-driven decision-making, and holding stakeholders accountable for risk. You will collaborate directly with stakeholders across executive, managerial, and tactical audiences to deliver accessible, intuitive, and actionable visualizations. All dashboard configurations, data models, and integration code developed under this effort remain the property of the Government.
Position Description:
The Senior Power Apps Developer will lead the full lifecycle of the enterprise cybersecurity dashboard ecosystem, including requirements gathering, development, data integration, routine maintenance, and decommissioning of outdated visualizations. Specific responsibilities include:
Design and Maintain Role-Based Dashboards
Design and maintain, at a minimum, three distinct, role-based dashboard views, ensuring the data presented is relevant to each audience:
  • Executive Leadership View: A strategic-level dashboard summarizing overall enterprise risk score, risk management status, Zero Trust (ZT) maturity progress, major incident status, and compliance posture against key frameworks.
  • System Owner / Managerial View: A tailored dashboard enabling system owners and managers to view the specific security status of their assigned systems, including open vulnerabilities, patch compliance levels, and active POA&Ms.
  • Analyst / Tactical View: A detailed operational dashboard for cyber personnel integrating data feeds from SIEM, EDR, network sensors, and threat intelligence platforms to provide actionable, real-time data for threat hunting and incident response.

Integrate and Aggregate Disparate Data Sources
Identify and integrate data feeds from authoritative systems across the enterprise to populate the dashboards, including but not limited to vulnerability scanners (Tenable/ACAS), the GRC platform (eMASS/XACTA), endpoint security solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike), the SIEM (Splunk/Elastic), and change management systems.
Ensure Data Accuracy and Timeliness
Implement automated processes to ensure dashboard data is refreshed at a frequency appropriate to the data type (e.g., near real-time for incident data, daily for vulnerability data) and conduct monthly data validation reviews to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Manage the Dashboard Lifecycle and Continuous Enhancement
Provide full lifecycle management of the dashboard ecosystem and manage its continuous enhancement through a formal, on-demand request process. Maintain a documented procedure for receiving, prioritizing, and executing new Government requests against tiered Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Minimum Requirements:
  • At least five (5) Years - of experience developing production applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, with a strong focus on Power Apps and Power Automate and/or SharePoint sites, lists, and libraries development.
  • Active Secret Clearance REQUIRED, eligible to be upgraded to TS/SCI.
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity, and/or Information Systems Management, Information Technology.
  • Must meet 8570 certification requirements at the time of hire. IAM or IAT Level I (e.g., A+, CCNA Security, Network+ CE, SSCP, CAP, GSLC, Security+ or higher tiered 8570 certification.

Required Skills:
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining Power Apps for data collection, process automation, and enhanced reporting and dashboarding.
  • Demonstrated experience building role-based, audience-tailored dashboards (executive, managerial, and analyst/tactical views) that deliver actionable intelligence.
  • Proven ability to integrate and aggregate disparate authoritative data sources, including vulnerability scanners (Tenable/ACAS), GRC platforms (eMASS/XACTA), endpoint security tools (e.g., CrowdStrike), and SIEM platforms (Splunk/Elastic).
  • Ability to write and maintain complex Power Fx formulas to implement business logic and data manipulation within Power Apps.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online, including creating and managing custom sites, lists, and libraries.
  • Proficiency in developing and configuring Power Automate workflows to automate business processes, orchestrate automated data refresh, and integrate with various data sources.
  • Ability to design and manage data sources in various formats such as Excel, SharePoint, Microsoft Dataverse, and SQL.
  • Experience implementing automated data validation and integrity checks and conducting recurring data validation reviews.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts including enterprise risk scoring, Zero Trust maturity, POA&Ms, patch/vulnerability compliance, incident response, and threat hunting.
  • Strong understanding of coding best practices and standards.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience delivering work against defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and managing a prioritized, on-demand request queue.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system design documents, data models, API documentation, user guides, and release notes.
  • Experience with basic programming logic and design, programming languages, and web development technologies and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, design, and debugging skills, enabling independent work and effective collaboration within teams.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize tasks across multiple projects, ensuring timely completion under tight schedules and evolving requirements.
  • Mentorship of team members, providing technical and professional guidance, sharing knowledge across teams, and contributing to the broader organizational vision.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • This is primarily a Telework position with a requirement to be onsite up to two (2) days a week
  • If alternate worksite is other than DCSA facilities or corporate office space, must have the reliable ability to communicate over voice (cell phone preferred) and stable, capable internet connection
  • Must be able to communicate complex technical ideas to a diverse customer base both verbally and in written form
