Licensed Veterinary Technician (Part-Time)
Crossroads Veterinary Clinic | Three Rivers, MI
30-34 Hours/Week | Benefits Eligible | No Late Nights
Wage: $22 - $25

We are seeking a Part-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician who is passionate about providing high-quality medicine, enjoys surgery and dentistry, and wants to work alongside teammates who truly support one another.
With a schedule that allows you to maintain work-life balance, this position offers 30-34 hours per week, benefits eligibility, and no late nights-we close at 5:00 PM!
What You'll Do
As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you'll play an important role in providing outstanding care to our canine and feline patients. You'll have the opportunity to utilize your skills and practice the medicine you were trained to provide.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Surgical assisting
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs
• Patient nursing and recovery
• Laboratory procedures and diagnostics
• Client education and communication

About Our Hospital
Crossroads Veterinary Clinic is an AAHA Accredited small animal hospital committed to maintaining the highest standards in veterinary medicine and client care.
Our hospital features:

• EZYvet practice management software
• In-house laboratory
• Digital radiology
• Ultrasound
• Laser therapy
• Orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, including:
  • Amputations
  • FHO procedures
  • Broken bone splints
• Comprehensive dentistry
• Online pharmacy and appointment scheduling

Our team provides comprehensive care including preventive medicine, advanced diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and compassionate care throughout every stage of a pet's life.
Schedule

• Part-time: 30-34 hours per week
• 3-4 days per week
• Every other Saturday
• No late nights-we close at 5:00 PM

What We're Looking For

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
• Experience with surgery, anesthesia, and dentistry preferred
• Passion for high-quality patient care

Your Impact as a Credentialed Veterinary Technician
Note: The Credentialed Veterinary Technician title is used in various states based on state-specific licensing and credentialing requirements. Responsibilities may vary depending on the hospital and/or state and will be outlined by the state's Veterinary Practice Act and/or the responsible veterinarian, where applicable.

• Utilize Your Full Skillset: You'll be a vital part of the medical team, providing comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
• Be a Leader and Mentor: You'll guide and support the medical team, ensuring an efficient workflow while mentoring others to help them grow their skills and careers.
• Partner with Clients: You'll be a key point of contact for pet owners, educating them on treatments, reviewing medical records, and confidently answering their questions.
• Contribute to a Positive Culture: You'll play an active role in training, providing feedback, and maintaining the high standards of our hospital environment.

What You'll Bring to the Team

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in a range of technical skills, including nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
• A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
• One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
