Job description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and reliability of manufacturing and production equipment within an industrial environment. This is a full time, on site, non-exempt hourly position with opportunities for overtime and extended shifts based on production demands.

Candidates must be comfortable working 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday as needed.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, hands on industrial maintenance experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on industrial machinery and production equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC controlled systems
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime
  • Perform PMs independently without direct supervision
  • Maintain and repair conveyors, pumps, motors, furnaces, and related production equipment
  • Troubleshoot forge furnaces and atmosphere heat treat furnaces preferred
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Install, test, and commission new equipment and machinery
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance accurately
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
  • Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with production and operations teams to maintain efficient plant operations

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience within manufacturing, production, or heavy industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery
  • Ability to electrically and mechanically troubleshoot equipment efficiently
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance programs on industrial equipment
  • Experience with atmosphere or heat treat furnaces is highly preferred
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and equipment specifications
  • Proficiency using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and electrical testing equipment
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and OSHA standards
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for extended periods, and work in industrial conditions

Preferred Experience

  • PLC troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with atmosphere furnaces or heat treat operations
  • Manufacturing or heavy industrial maintenance background
