Summary:

In this role, you will lead complex, cross-functional projects that support strategic business objectives across multiple products, clients, and source systems. You will partner with stakeholders to drive project execution, influence decision-making through data-driven insights, and improve processes while ensuring successful project delivery, governance, and measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex cross-functional projects from initiation through completion while managing scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project management processes, tools, and documentation to support successful project execution.
  • Enhance project governance by developing metrics, reporting, and performance measures that drive informed decision-making.
  • Communicate project expectations, progress, risks, and recommendations to project teams, leadership, and stakeholders.
  • Analyze project data and key performance indicators to identify trends, provide strategic recommendations, and support business decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders on project status, risks, outcomes, and recommendations.
  • Mentor project team members and promote effective collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Facilitate project retrospectives and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience managing complex cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or Wrike; Smartsheet experience preferred.
  • Experience with Mavenlink preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); Microsoft Project and Visio experience preferred.
  • Proficient in project management principles, methodologies, techniques, and tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and leverage insights to support project decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
