Job description

General Position Scope:

The Document Processing Specialist II is responsible for accurately processing all loan documents using DecisionPro, NCino, and LaserPro software and uploading to Jack Henry Silverlake, including all new, renewed, extended, or amended loans. This processor is responsible for complex loans, such as crop loans, commercial and consumer real estate loans, stock loans, life insurance and equipment, A/R, and inventory loans.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process new, renewed, extended, or amended loans in LaserPro software.
  • Download customer information from Jack Henry Silverlake or DecisionPro into LaserPro software.
  • Input application/collateral information into LaserPro software.
  • Save required documents to requesting branch’s S Drive.
  • Utilize the Interface system to upload information into Jack Henry Silverlake.
  • Order coupon books.
  • Set up transfers.
  • Manually enter any additional information not included in the Interface system which includes income, credit score, collateral code, lien position, current collateral descriptions, HMDA code, etc.
  • Serve as back up for the Document Processing Specialist I position.
  • Work weekly and/or daily reports.
  • Process loans with accuracy and consistency and in a timely manner.
  • Request additional work from supervisor as time allows.
  • Attend training seminars and continuing education programs.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank’s standard of conduct.
  • Participate in the bank’s High-Performance Rewards Connections program.
  • Make referrals to Mortgage Center and Wealth Management.

Position Requirements:

  • Associate degree or a minimum of two years’ experience.  One year banking experience and one year working with loan documents, preferably with real estate loans.
  • General computer and typing experience with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Driving, and occasional travel, as needed for business purpose.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Work outside of regular business hours, as deemed necessary.
  • Ability to make difficult decisions and handle multiple tasks.
