In this hands-on production role, you'll support yarn production by following established processes, maintaining quality standards, and keeping work moving at an efficient pace. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on, repetitive work and takes pride in consistent, quality results.

What You'll Do

  • Follow established yarn twisting and production processes and procedures
  • Complete production tasks accurately and at the expected pace
  • Monitor work for quality and consistency throughout the production process
  • Follow safety, quality, and operational guidelines
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and ready for production
  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production needs
  • Support Saturday production as needed

What You'll Bring

  • Ability to follow processes and procedures consistently
  • Strong attention to quality and detail
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining production expectations
  • Comfort with repetitive production work and standing for extended periods
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Flexibility to work Saturdays when needed
  • Previous production or manufacturing experience is a plus

You'll Thrive Here If

  • You take pride in producing consistent, quality work
  • You are dependable and ready to contribute each day
  • You enjoy hands-on work and staying active throughout your shift
  • You can stay focused while completing repetitive production tasks
  • You are comfortable working as part of a team in a production environment
  • You'll be part of the hands-on process behind yarns makers use and love, working alongside a team that values quality, consistency, and craftsmanship.

Additional Information

  • On-site. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-1:30 PM; Saturdays as needed
  • Target hourly salary: $16.00 - $19.00
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) with company match; paid time off; and parental leave
  • Employee discounts across all Local Crafts brands: Connecting Threads, Superior Threads, Knit Picks, Crochet.com, and Berroco
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time
  • Physical requirements: Must be comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive production work
