DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
The ideal candidate will provide safety, quality, environmental, and maintenance management focused on the Continuous Pickling Line (CPL), Slitting Line Hot (SLH), Batch Anneal (BA) and Support Systems (SS) to meet the business goals of Arcelor Mittal Calvert.
The Basics:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Business, or similar with 5+ years of experience OR equivalent years of experience in electrical maintenance in an industrial environment
  • 5+ years minimum in an electrical maintenance support role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for alignment at multiple organizational levels
  • Have technical understanding of electrical engineering basics, motor controls, PLC's, and Drives
  • Leadership experience; can be in a project leadership role
  • Fundamental understanding of preventive maintenance programs
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Organize daily activities of your team with focus on safety, quality, and production KPI's
  • Implement Asset Reliability Process in your area
  • Coordinate and initiate improvement projects, including Capital Project expenditures
  • Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis events, determine failure causes and implement corrective actions
  • Set goals, review, and evaluate team and individual performances on a regular basis
  • Manage Daily, Monthly, and Annual activities of each line
  • Monitoring all electrical equipment performance in CPL, SLH, BA and SS
  • Analysis of key performance indicators
  • Optimizing performance in terms of working ratio, MTBF, and equipment availability in general
