INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICE LEAD (ISL)

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As an Infrastructure Service Lead (ISL) supporting CIS, you play a pivotal role in maintaining the stability, security, and operational readiness of enterprise IT infrastructure across multiple networks and environments. You serve as the first line of technical defense-monitoring critical systems, identifying issues in real time, coordinating rapid response actions, and ensuring essential IT services remain available to users around the globe. Your work drives operational excellence, improves issue resolution, and enhances the overall reliability of enterprise-wide IT services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the primary technical lead for infrastructure services within the IT Operations Center (ITOC), providing 24/7/365 operational oversight and initial incident assessment
  • Monitor and analyze enterprise alerts, alarms, dashboards, and system health indicators to identify issues and coordinate with service lane SMEs and Senior Technical Advisors for timely resolution
  • Act as the central interface between leadership, regional operations, cyber teams, network teams, desk side support, and other service lanes to facilitate coordinated response and communication during events
  • Initiate and lead crisis action teams for critical infrastructure incidents, ensuring rapid escalation, tracking, and documentation
  • Maintain the Common Operating Picture (COP), enterprise monitoring sites, and collaboration dashboards to provide accurate, real-time visibility of infrastructure service health
  • Track planned and emergency maintenance actions impacting infrastructure services and communicate operational impacts to stakeholders

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, or 12+ years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree

  • CLEARANCE: Active TS/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph

  • Hands-on experience with core infrastructure services (e.g., Active Directory, storage, server compute, web services, network troubleshooting)

  • CERTIFICATION: DoD 8140 certification (Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP or Security + CE)

  • Ability to operate effectively in a 24/7/365 enterprise operations environment and meet manning requirements

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform initial incident triage and assess root cause indicators
  • Experience working in high tempo operational or network operations center (NOC/ITOC) environments
  • Experience within a 24/7/365 operations environment as a central interface and technical lead facilitating coordinated response and communication during enterprise incidents
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple service teams under pressure
  • US citizenship required

The likely salary range for this position is $128,039 - $173,229. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
