Job description

Overview:
Position: Senior Back End Developer III - AdTech Focus
Location: Richfield, MN (Hybrid - 1-2 days onsite per week preferred; remote considered)
Employment Type: Contract (7-12+ Months)
Project Scope
  • Enhance seller-facing campaign management workflows.
  • Integrate with external advertising platforms (e.g., Criteo) and ad-serving systems.
  • Implement reporting, spend tracking, and billing event pipelines.
  • Improve campaign synchronization and product eligibility systems.
  • Modernize frontend and backend architecture for scalability and maintainability.
Key Skills & Experience
  • 7-10 years of backend development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot/WebFlux.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices and REST API development.
  • Deep understanding of Kafka and event-driven architecture.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems, concurrency, and asynchronous processing.
  • Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL/MySQL performance optimization.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud-native applications.
  • Production support, monitoring, and observability expertise.
