Job description

Pride Health is hiring a Lab Assistant - 3rd shift to support our client’s medical facility in Miramar FL 33025. This is a great opportunity to join a top-tier healthcare organization with potential for long-term growth.


Job Title: Lab Assistant - 3rd shift
Location: Miramar, FL 33025
Shift/Time Zone: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay Rate: $19.78/hr (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, sort, and process laboratory specimens.
  • Prepare samples for testing, including labeling, aliquoting, and centrifuging.
  • Perform routine laboratory support and specimen handling tasks.
  • Maintain specimen storage, records, and documentation.
  • Assist with quality control activities and resolve pending specimen issues.
  • Clean and decontaminate laboratory work areas.
  • Follow all laboratory safety, PPE, and compliance requirements.
  • Operate laboratory information systems and other computer applications.


Required Skills:

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Strong ability to retain learned information.
  • Professional communication skills with coworkers and internal/external customers.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.


Additional details: Heavy production site. Very busy with repetitive tasks. Medical terminology a plus but not required. If testing samples, will be required to wear lab coat, mask, goggles, gloves, protective wear.
