The Crew Leader is responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining equipment, and fostering a positive work culture.
Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a team of crew members to complete tasks on time and within budget
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accountability for the actions and performance of the crew
- Ensure all work is completed thoroughly and meets company standards to avoid call-backs
- Conduct post-job checklists to confirm all tasks are finished
- Promote and enforce safety protocols, documenting and reporting any incidents or violations promptly
- Train crew members on equipment use and company procedures
- Develop crew members to work independently with minimal supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of trucks, trailers, and equipment daily
