Job description

Our Crew Members are responsible for providing an excellent customer experience to all customers using our facility. They will ensure customer satisfaction by providing a clean, dry, shiny vehicle to the customer in a safe, fast, and friendly manner. Also help out by ensuring that the outside physical appearance of site, equipment maintenance, and chemical and supply inventories are taken care of.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
  1. Provide exceptional customer service to all customers.
  2. Suggest and up-sell wash products and plans to customers; assist customers with menu options and payment.
  3. Observe and maintain lane and tunnel flow; perform visual inspections of the condition of each vehicle prior to entering the tunnel.
  4. Processes point of sale transactions efficiently and with minimal error. Able to correct minor transaction errors. Safeguard cash; comply with cash and safe drops.
  5. Maintain and clean all areas of the car wash; maintain outside equipment and supplies.
  6. Perform preventive maintenance on the car wash equipment; notify management when malfunction occurs
  7. Work safely and report unsafe conditions or maintenance issues to management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  1. High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred; previous customer service or sales experience required.
  2. Good communication and interpersonal skills; customer service oriented.
  3. Good accuracy and attention to detail. Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Able to multi-task.
  4. Able to lift, carry, push/pull up to 50 pounds alone. Regular use of ladder.
  5. Physical stamina to work long hours and have physical mobility to bend, kneel, stoop, squat, reach and stand/walk for long periods of time. Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
