The Eastern Shawnee - Veracity JV is a tribally-owned 8(a) certified strategic joint venture between Eastern Shawnee Professional Services (ESPS) and Veracity Consulting (Veracity) created to provide agile, effective IT and business solutions for federal clients. Together, this joint venture brings streamlined contracting, extensive IT expertise, and proven reliability to support mission-critical federal initiatives.

Summary.

The Lead AV/IT Technician manages daily on-site AV/IT technical operations and serves as the senior technical lead for event support and complex troubleshooting. This position coordinates technician activities and ensures system readiness across MSCoE G6 facilities. This position is on-site at Fort Leonard Wood. This opportunity is contingent upon award. The selected candidate may be hired as either an ESPS employee or Veracity employee, depending on project planning and organizational needs. The employing entity will not affect the day-to-day responsibilities or expectations of the position.


Responsibilities.

• Lead field technician operations and supervise daily technical assignments.
• Provide advanced Tier 2 troubleshooting and equipment repair.
• Install, configure, and maintain AV/IT equipment, networks, and control systems.
• Program and modify Crestron, Extron, or AMX control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain system documentation.
• Lead AV/IT event setups, rehearsals, and real-time support.
• Maintain and update AV/IT equipment inventory and lifecycle data.
• Train and mentor junior technicians.
• Coordinate with MSCoE G6 IT and cybersecurity personnel.

Requirements:Qualifications.

Minimum Education and Experience.

• High school diploma required.
• 3–5 years of AV/IT field technician or system integration experience.


Preferred Qualifications.

• CompTIA Network+ or Security+ required.
• CTS or CTS-I strongly preferred.
• Experience with AV control system programming.
• Knowledge of network switches, IT systems, and VTC platforms.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities.

• Advanced understanding of AV/IT troubleshooting, integration, and design.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate complex technical tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Ability to support mission-critical events under time constraints.


Other Requirements.

• Secret clearance required.
• Availability for irregular hours and special event support.


Work Environment.

• Field support across classrooms, conference rooms, and event spaces.
• Occasional work in equipment rooms or elevated platforms.


Physical Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle AV equipment.
• Ability to climb ladders, crouch, and work in confined spaces.
