Description: Student Council Sponsor
Job Summary: The Student Council Sponsor will work with building leadership in the recruitment of students, handle the day-to-day operations, providing leadership, mentoring, supporting, programming, collaborating, planning and participating in student-led activities.
Qualifications:
1. Organize and supervise a core group of students who meet regularly for the purpose of planning ideas and projects for the upcoming year
2. Provide students the opportunity to develop and build their citizenship and leadership skills
3. Supervise students at all sponsored related events for the purpose of ensuring proper student behavior
4. Support students in projects and outings by organizing events and providing all necessary materials
5. Communicate with students, parents, and other school staff for the purpose of providing information, assistance, and direction
6. Establish different events and volunteer opportunities for the purpose of building student interactions with the community and allowing students to give back
7. All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
