About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team at Cedar Crest Dairy Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting our products to various customers across the region. Your contributions will help maintain our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do
  • Safely operate a truck to deliver dairy products and dry goods to customers in a timely manner (deliveries average 14-20 drops per day)
  • Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers.
  • Load and unload products as necessary (by hands or other means) ensuring proper handling of items and placing products neatly in a designated customer storage area(s).
  • Ensure accurate and secure collection of customer payments.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition and monitor reefer temperatures to maintain product quality and safety.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Complete end-of-day check-ins accurately and without errors.

Qualifications
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
  • Proven experience as a truck driver, with CDL A experience.
  • Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy products during deliveries.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to work early morning shifts and stay until the job is completed (Start times vary between 3:00 and 5:00am and last until the job is finished).
