Job description

IntroductionIntek Plastics specializes in designing, manufacturing, assembling, and delivering a wide variety of customized plastic extrusions in the Fenestration, Hydroponic, Lighting, Refrigeration, and Power Management Industries.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to facilitate programs from conception through approval for production. This role involves consulting customers on plastic materials, part design, and tooling, while maintaining consistent, accurate communication with all parties involved.

Responsibilities

  • The Project Manager will collaborate with a cross-functional team from Sales, Engineering, Tooling, Quality, and Molding to address concerns on initial quotes and develop strategies with to attract customers and ensure successful program launches and sustained success long term.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for pro-active management of multiple, concurrent projects which require ongoing, aggressive customer and internal communication, and coordination from start to finish.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, proven experience in program management and engineering, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, and knowledge of plastic materials, part design, and tooling is a plus.
  • Experience with SolidWorks, CREO and/or other 3D software is a plus.
