Contract: 12 months

We are looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to support credit analysis and risk management for financial institution clients, with a focus on asset managers, regulated funds and capital markets transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present annual credit reviews and new credit requests to Credit Committees.

  • Perform detailed counterparty and peer analysis and provide credit recommendations.

  • Analyze capital markets transactions including derivatives, FX, swaps, repo, securities lending and prime services.

  • Review credit exposures, excesses and counterparty risk.

  • Work closely with Relationship Managers, Traders, Market Risk, Legal and Operations teams.

  • Review credit-sensitive legal documentation and support agreements such as ISDA/CSA, GMRA/PSA and SLMA.

  • Coordinate credit risk processes and ensure data quality and regulatory compliance.

  • Monitor industry, credit, regulatory and legal trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in capital markets or credit risk analysis.

  • Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to confidently communicate credit opinions and recommendations.

  • Strong MS Word and Excel skills.

  • Knowledge of capital markets products and related legal documentation is preferred.

  • MS, MBA, CFA or FRM is an asset.
