Job Description
Provides credit risk analytics support for the Wholesale Commercial portfolios, including the development and monitoring of credit risk rating assignment methods. Develops and delivers analytics to support key Credit Strategy initiatives, leveraging credit risk and enterprise datasets to identify emerging risks, trends, and opportunities. Translates data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations that inform and drive risk-based decision making across the organization.
Effectively communicates analytical findings in a clear, concise, and impactful manner, enabling senior management to quickly understand and make informed, data-driven decisions. The role offers the opportunity to develop analytical solutions that support high impact strategic initiatives across the department.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically more than 10 years of applicable experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Computer programming experience in SQL, SAS or Python experience strongly preferred, intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proven ability to work with and interpret large, complex datasets
  • Ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions and actionable insights
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) preferred
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize analytical results into clear, concise summaries for senior stakeholders
  • Foundational knowledge of credit risk, financial and statistical analysis
  • Knowledge of, or exposure to Commercial Lending preferred but not required

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

Pay Range: $133,365.00 - $156,900.00
