About the team:
The Marketplace Payments & Financial Services team enhances the Marketplace ecosystem by enabling reliable seller payouts, driving monetization, and expanding financial products while managing financial and compliance risks. The Credit Risk team supports sustainable growth by developing strategies, controls, and decision frameworks to identify and mitigate credit risk. Collaborating closely with Product, Seller Services, Data Science, Billing, Legal, and Operations, the team balances seller experience with responsible risk management. Operating in a fast-paced environment, it leverages data, analytics, and scalable decisioning to minimize credit losses, strengthen controls, and support innovative financial offerings and long-term business growth.
What you'll do:

• Developandexecutecreditriskstrategies,decisioningframeworks,andpoliciesthatenablethesustainablegrowthofMarketplaceSellerServiceswhileminimizingcreditlosses.
• Partnercross-functionallywithProduct,DataScience,SellerServices,Finance,Billing,andEngineeringtodesign,implement,andoptimizescalablecreditriskcontrols.
• Leadcomplex,end-to-endinitiativestodevelopcreditlimits,prepaystrategies,reserves,service-levelcontrols,andearlywarningcapabilities.
• Leverageinternaldata,predictivemodels,andexternalrisksignalstoassessemergingrisks,improvedecisionquality,anddrivedata-informedrecommendations.
• Monitorportfolioperformance,evaluatestrategyeffectiveness,andcontinuouslyrefinecreditriskdecisioningtobalancesellergrowthwithresponsibleriskmanagement.

Sunnyvale, California US-11789: The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
