Deposit Operations Leader
Consumers Credit Union is looking for a passionate Deposit Operations Leader to join our team. As a Deposit Operations Leader, you will manage a team to obtain the objectives related to processing, uptime, support and service within Operations. This position also maintains critical systems, manages vendors partnership, leads projects & implements new technologies. You will also ensure timely and accurate ACH processing, incoming and outgoing wires, mobile check deposits and manages fraud through these channels.
What you'll be doing:
  • Manage call volume, Help Me ticket volume & team availability.
  • Manages team responsible for ACH processing, wire processing, remote deposit capture and various deposit account related.
  • Responsible for administration of core systems; including but not limited to Fedline, Alloya, SWIFT, Alloya & any other applicable payments rail.
  • Train, coach, and lead team to resolve system & member issues.
  • Innovate & encourage team innovation & empowerment.
  • Resolve escalated issues related to critical systems to credit union employees.
  • Knowledgeable of ACH and Reg E guidelines to ensure compliance and oversight.
  • Creates and administers new user accounts for employees and vendors. Provision passwords, privileges, and security rights as directed and assigned.
  • Leads strategic direction of Deposit Operations and related projects. Collaborates with internal groups and vendors to ensure completion within the timelines associated to each item. This includes new product implementation, software releases and other process improvements.
  • Provides empowered decision-making, self-direction, prioritization, and conscientiousness to address significant areas of the credit union.
  • Provides risk guidance to manage fraud across all deposit operations products and services.
  • Maintain vendor relationship & communication as it applies to invoicing, software updates, contracts, new technology and service expectations.
  • Negotiates pricing, contracts, and approves vendor invoices.
  • Monitor trends and analyze data to make recommendations and decisions regarding products/services.
  • Be "on-call" as necessary and as assigned by your supervisor.
  • Provide in-depth reporting and updates to executive staff as it relates to profitability, performance & usage.
  • Provided peer-to-peer coaching and leadership across the credit union.

  • AAP accredited required.
  • Must have the proven ability to lead and develop people.
  • Lives the credit union's culture and works to maintain the culture on a daily basis.
  • Proven track record in coordinating projects and working with others to accomplish common goals and objectives
  • Solutions oriented, making decisions that are best for the credit union's long term success.
  • Strong planning and time management skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to deal with situations where action is required outside of normal duties or hours
  • Knowledge and understanding of Compliance as related to Deposit Operations.
