Job Overview:
We are looking to expand our 30+ person credit research team by adding an Associate Research Analyst to assist Senior Analysts covering companies with Loan-Only capital structures. This individual will be part of the Global Credit Research Team and will interact with investment professionals across our taxable fixed income mandates.
We'll trust you to:
  • Conduct detailed industry and company fundamental analysis for Loan-Only capital structures as directed by the Senior Analysts
  • Build and maintain industry and company financial models
  • Assist Senior Analyst in constructing company and industry research notes, providing background information, graphs and data tables
  • Develop and refine research knowledge and skills under the guidance of the supervising Senior Analyst and Director of Research
  • Communicate and develop relationships with issuer management teams, sell-side professionals, legal and restructuring professionals, and private equity sponsors
  • Analyze and help develop credit documents such as loan agreements, amendments, and security agreements

You'll need to have:
  • 2-3 years of financial modeling experience
  • Experience with high yield/leveraged loans, private credit/direct lending and the healthcare sector would be helpful
  • Excellent quantitative, communication, and investment management skills
  • BA/BS degree required

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $130,000-$150,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
