Job description

Position Overview
Home Instead is seeking a reliable and adaptable Administrative Office Intern this Fall to support our Daphne office operations.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of administrative tasks in a structured office environment. The intern will assist with day-to-day office functions while supporting staff, caregivers, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, filing (physical and digital), and document organization
  • Support caregiver scheduling and communication while in the field
  • Help with onboarding tasks such as preparing orientation materials and organizing paperwork
  • Answer calls, respond to messages, and route inquiries appropriately
  • Travel with office staff as needed to assist with community visits, caregiver support, or client-related tasks
  • Help maintain accurate employee and client records
  • Assist with recruiting efforts such as organizing applications and scheduling interviews
  • Support general office needs and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a college, university, or technical program (Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Reliable transportation
