WHAT THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE: Under the supervision of the Accounting & Admin. Manager, this position is responsible for accounts receivable, collections, credit accounts, accounts payable, payroll functions, assist customer service, basic administrative support and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus college level accounting.
  • Minimum five years' experience in collections, accounts receivable and payables required, experience in concrete block and/or sack industry a plus.  Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred but not required.
  • On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
  • Strong aptitude for organizing personal tasks and repetitive duties in a dynamic environment.
  • Must have strong communication, teamwork, interpersonal, accounting and mathematical skills.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment to enable effective interaction and the ability to motivate team members, including peers.
  • Working knowledge of the operations Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, a 10-key adding machine, copier, facsimile machine and any other office equipment required to perform duties.
  • Regular attendance is required
