Job description

The Accounting Associate provides administrative and accounting support to ensure accurate financial recordkeeping and efficient office operations. This position requires a highly organized individual who is comfortable handling confidential financial information, coordinating document management, and traveling between clinic locations to support accounting functions.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and prepare daily cash deposit.
  • Prepare and organize supporting documentation for corporate credit card transactions.
  • Match receipts with credit card statements and ensure documentation is complete.
  • Scan, attach, and electronically file accounting documents.
  • Maintain organized accounting files and assist with audit requests.
  • Pick up and deliver parking tickets, mail and documents between clinic locations.
  • Placing orders online for office supplies, breakroom supplies and other online orders
  • Sort and distribute Finance Department mail.
  • Support month-end and year-end document preparation.
  • Perform other administrative and financial support tasks as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • At least one year of accounting, bookkeeping experience preferred.
  • Healthcare or nonprofit experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and car insurance.
