At Fortifi Bank, our Credit Analysts are responsible for analyzing current credit data and financial statements of individuals and businesses to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit for use in the loan decision-making process.

Job Details:
  • Assists the team in recognizing process improvements and ways to reduce costs, increase quality, service, and efficiency and achieve annual goals and objectives.
  • Participates in the commercial lending activity of the Bank.
  • Spreads financial statements and performs detailed analysis on existing and prospective borrowers.
  • Recognizes and assesses pertinent risks and identifies the impact of financial, non-financial and external factors.
  • Prepares commercial loan presentations as well as integrating relevant external factors.
  • Participate in ongoing program of credit administration.
  • Remains current on bank loan policy, procedures and existing laws/regulations.
  • Monitors monthly reports ensuring adherence to loan policy.
  • Demonstrates safe and quality-conscious work habits.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively handle high-pressure situations.
  • Demonstrates strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
